A Parametric Cost Engineering System
The PACES software is a parametric cost engineering tool used to plan construction and renovation costs for facilities and infrastructure. Even with limited design information, PACES utilizes construction criteria and pre-engineered model parameters to accurately predict construction costs.
In PACES, quantities can be changed at various levels within models to reflect project-specific conditions. Parametric modeling minimizes errors and omissions associated with traditional cost estimating procedures, particularly during planning and early design phases.
